Neil Ackland – Managing Director

Neil left rain, wind and his smart suit back in England in 1998 to start the good life in Australia. It didn't take him long to acquire a casual wardrobe and his love of music lead him to starting the commercial arm of Sound Alliance.

As Managing Director Neil is the creative force behind the expanded portfolio of businesses and is constantly driving new opportunities for Sound Alliance.

Neil has a unique understanding of how to build brands, support client brands, how to communicate with consumers and most importantly how to establish a sustainable and profitable business model from niche web communities.

Andre Lackmann – Director - Technology

Sound Alliance's first and most successful web property inthemix.com.au was all but a twinkle in Andre's eye back in 2000. The tech crash had made the 'internet' a dirty word yet Andre was busy in his spare bedroom building a place to upload and share his club photos and his passion for dance music.

Fast forward 7 years and Andre's twinkle has flourished somewhat. Andre now oversees the technical aspects of the Sound Alliance business. His army of designers and developers keep our business abreast of the latest technologies.

Libby Clark – Operations Director

Of the three founding partners of the Sound Alliance, Libby Clark kept her 'real job' (working in corporate HR) the longest. When she decided this was no longer her destiny, she took the leap and joined Andre and Neil in her search for internet glory.

Libby tapped into her HR past and began to recruit the team and set about producing online content for the website.  Libby has since been responsible for building a national editorial network of over 4,000 dedicated contributors, a 35 strong full-time staff roster and managing the QJump ticketing business.

Cliff Rosenberg – Chairman

Until mid 2006 Cliff spent 3 years as the Managing Director of Yahoo! Australia & NZ. In 2006 he was elected as the inaugural Chairman of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and has also been Chairman of the Mobile Marketing Awards (MMA) in 2006 and 2007. Since leaving Yahoo!
